Join Accelrys, a leading provider of scientific business intelligence
software, and enjoy a consultative support role working closely with
leading industry and academic researchers.
Providing comprehensive scientific and technical support for Accelrys
products in the area of materials science, mainly via email and phone,
you will act as a liaison to product development and marketing regarding
customer reported issues, software testing and scientific validation.
You will have a PhD in Chemistry or a related field and ideally expertise
with Accelrys' suite of software packages, preferably Materials Studio.
An expert in the use of simulation technology applied to materials science
problems, you will have in-depth knowledge of quantum chemistry, classical
simulations using forcefields, spectral simulations, solid state chemistry
and physics.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will have the presentation
skills to represent us at scientific meetings and be interested in
developing a scientific track record through continuous publications,
presentations or participation in delivering customer training. You must
also be willing to spend up to 15% of your time travelling.
